What’s in a name: The name blushing bride was derived from folklore. It is said that when a young man was courting a maiden he would present her with a flower. The deeper the shade of pink, the more imminent the proposal, causing the maiden to blush.

Why we love it: With origins in South Africa, the Blushing Bride flower looks fantastic in arrangements and is very popular in bridal bouquets. It also works well as a lapel flower or in a corsage.
